“Parlez-vous PLÜ” is the name of a new podcast launched today by Grand Casino Baden. The first season consists of 20 episodes, during which host Maximilian Baumann interviews Swiss celebrities and tries to persuade guests to tell “a little bit more”.
Maximilian’s first guests include Swiss celebrities such as Melanie Winiger, Hausi Leutenegger, Bastian Baker and Meta Hiltebrand. Today, to start with is Arno del Curto. Every week on Thursday, a new issue of “Parlez-vous PLÜ” is released.
“Parlez-vous PLÜ” is recorded in the lounge of the recently renovated PLÜ casino restaurant. The talk show format is available in audio format on all popular podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts or Audible, and or in video format on YouTube and Vimeo.
Lounge discussions in a comfortable atmosphere
For Beat Lehmann, Head of Brands at Grand Casino Baden, the new format is a good opportunity to further increase awareness of the PLÜ and develop it into an independent brand of Grand Casino Baden.
“For many years, our strategy has been to offer an attractive entertainment package that goes beyond the norm of traditional casinos and brand ourselves as a ‘House of Entertainment.’ In addition to the Club Joy, our offering also includes the PLÜ, which scored 13 points with its first entry in the Gault & Millau. The podcast will help to increase awareness of the PLÜ.”
Radio personality host
With Maximilian Baumann, Grand Casino Baden was able to secure an expert host for the podcast. Baumann, now a restaurateur himself, has earned a reputation over the years as a funny and entertaining but also sensitive interviewer who manages to coax out more information from his guests than the usual PR talk. “Parlez-vous PLÜ is the result of a collaboration in which the Grand Casino Baden has placed great trust in me,” says Baumann about the first season. “This podcast works without any sensationalism. What we hear are honest conversations between two people who know each other personally.”
