Stadtcasino Baden mourns the death of its Vice President

Stadtcasino Baden AG mourns the death of Marc Périllard, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. The well-known Baden resident, who helped shape the fortunes of the group as a member of the Board of Directors since 2014 and as Vice Chairman since 2015, lost his battle against his serious illness last Thursday.

In his main profession, Marc Périllard worked for almost thirty years as an independent general agent of the Mobiliar branch in Baden. From 1990 to 2019, he headed the agency, and since 2020 he served as an independent consultant for Mobiliar. On the Board of Directors of the Stadtcasino Baden Group, Périllard chaired the Sponsorship Committee, which decides on the Group’s commitments in favor of cultural or sports projects.

Marc Périllard will be remembered in particular as a charismatic leader, as a person and as a friend who connected with everyone across all hierarchical levels and generously praised good work. “His feedback was always marked by great appreciation,” colleagues who worked with him remember, “and that was especially true when it came to criticism.”

“Marc was always businesslike, polite, modest – a grand seigneur with style,” tell employees. This included the fact that Marc Périllard also knew how to celebrate, as evidenced by his mandates, for example, as the former head of the organizing committee of the Badenfahrt. Despite his illness, he did not miss the opportunity to help plan this year’s big 20th anniversary on the occasion of the General Assembly. “I know that this was an important project for Marc,” says Chairman of the Board Jürg Altorfer.
