Stadtcasino Baden AG sells Casino Davos

Stadtcasino Baden Group is selling its shares in Casino Davos AG to its current partner, the Belgian Ardent Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sale price. Employees are being taken on by the buyer. The transaction has yet to be approved by the Swiss Federal Gaming Board (SFGB).

Stadtcasino Baden Group generates a profit of CHF 3.9 million in 2020, despite the coronavirus outbreak

Stadt Casino Baden AG ended 2020 better than expected, with the Group generating a profit of CHF 3.9 million. This is around 11% more than in the previous year (CHF 3.5 million). Gross revenue in 2020 was CHF 105 million – around 25% more than in the previous year. Gamanza Group AG, which is jointly owned by Magnus Lindberg and Grand Casino Baden AG, is being split – the two 50% shareholders will each acquire two business units and develop them further for their specific target groups. This transaction will strengthen both focus and market opportunities.
